Slate.com says:

In another report that makes the inside pages of most papers, an analysis of 68 studies concluded that antioxidant pills, which includes popular vitamins, have no real health benefits and some could even increase the possibility of death.

Last time I checked, that possibility was 100% already.

The WordPress installation on Dreamhost doesn’t have any stats or WYSIWYG editing. They must be behind a version or two from the one I was using on WordPress.com. It’s quite disappointing.

YottaPixel launches

As my 40th birthday present to myself, I began my foray into commercial web publishing with the launch of YottaPixel!

Dreamhost rocks! They make the process quite simple. I especially like the fact that I can use the web UI to access a wide range of configuration — but I can also SSH into the box when I need to poke around. It did not go flawlessly, but when things went wrong I was able to apply my own technical experience to fix them quickly. Bravo, Dreamhost!

This morning, YottaPixel is #1,716,151 on Technorati, while FPotter is #2,649,031. Why? Because FPotter links to YottaPixel. It really does pay to have more than one blog linking to each other!

We’re showing Amazon ads, and I’m eager to get Google AdSense running on YottaPixel. There’s something wierd about my account (or AdSense accounts in general, which I don’t understand). Hopefully tech support will clear it up soon.

I was up late tweaking and tuning, and now I’m off to spend my birthday with Jeremy!
